Forest of Dean

We are one of over 1,000 u3a groups in the UK. We celebrate our 35th Anniversary in 2025 and look forward to a great future here in the Forest of Dean.

The u3a is a national organisation which is open to anyone who is not in full time work. At the Forest of Dean u3a we have a range of groups catering for a variety of interests. Please click on the Groups tab for more information. NEW groups just starting up.

We hold a Monthly Open Meeting which is held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Lydney Town Hall (doors open at 1pm for 2pm start, event finishing by 4pm). There is the opportunity to find out more about the various interest groups / activities, to join the Forest of Dean u3a and to chat with other members and friends. There is limited car parking at the Town Hall but there is a public car park at the Library - the post code is GL15 5DY.
