The Cycling group meet Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10.30am at Cannop Ponds (occasionally other days by arrangement). To find out what is going on each week, contact Dave using the email link above.

Over the years the group has moved to electric bikes for coping with hills and average 20 miles a trip.

A typical day out with us cyclists will see us head through the forest to the charity shop/cafe at Drybrook and the museum cafe at Soudley passing through the blue stone trail a meander past Mallards Pike to Parkend railway station cafe or the bike shop. Before heading back to our starter base at Cannop ponds. We try to visit places of interest and stick to forest tracks whenever possible.

I have in recent times been experimenting with a tandem bike on loan from Charlotte Tandems a charity group to give a friend a taste of biking she would not otherwise be capable
